I’m currently studying the demographic patterns of the acid weed, Desmarestia herbacea within Stillwater Cove. This alga is remarkably acidic, we’re talking more intense than your stomach acid, yet certain herbivores still eat them. Along with general demographics, I’m also trying to determine if their acidity changes at any point during their life and who’s eating them along the way.

I am typically underwater but when I'm topside, you can find me working as the Assistant Diving Safety Officer.
