Heather Fulton-Bennett

I am starting my second year at MLML, before which I did my undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver in ecology and oceanography. Before coming to MLML, I worked on several research projects at UC Santa Cruz, as well as working in the UBC Algae Herbarium. My thesis work focuses on the intertidal kelp Egregia menziesii, and it's morphology and ecology, specifically the effect it has on intertidal communities and how environmental factors can change this effect.
